Creating Cultures of Care
Creativity empowers regional communities – cultivating connection, resilience, engagement, and cultural vitality.
Regional Culture Care Australia (ReCCA) is a nimble, creative consultancy based in regional Victoria, working with communities to strengthen the arts and foster cultures of care in regional Australia. Deeply connected to the people and places that shape creative life beyond the cities, we understand the unique challenges and strengths of regional practice.
Through collaboration with local leaders and organisations, we help design and deliver strategies that are locally grown, sustainable, and culturally rich.
Our approach draws on the principles of Culture Care (Makoto Fujimura) and Enterprise Facilitation (Ernesto Sirolli), placing relationships and local knowledge at the heart of creative development. Culture, in this view, is not a product but an ecosystem – something to be tended, nourished, and stewarded for the good of all.
Working across disciplines and sectors, ReCCA brings together artists, councils, community groups, and organisations to co-create thriving creative communities. Whether developing strategic plans, designing programs, or facilitating networks, our focus remains on building capacity, trust, and long-term impact.
ReCCA doesn’t just deliver projects – we help communities imagine new futures. And then we walk with them as they bring those futures to life.
